In the ITU Post Connect Americas Summit Report: Broadband Overview in the Americas, TMG’s Senior Advisor, International ICT Policy, Flávia Alves, provides an update on the development of broadband networks and policies in the Americas since the Connect Americas Summit held in Panama in 2012.  In brief, the report shows that countries in the region have generally continued to make good progress in expanding access to broadband; subscriber figures have risen and policy frameworks continue to be implemented and revised. However, additional potential for growth and improvement remains.
